What about Bob?

Hi there. I am primary a PHP developer, been since somewhere around 1998 where I started doing web work for PlanetQuake. I started programming by writing modifications on the video game Quake, where the source code was available and I was editing it without even knowing at the time what the name of the language was (it was C). Nearly everything I do I self-taught to where I am now. In the mid 2000′s I became a developer for KateOS, which was the first Linux distribution to include PHP-GTK and use it for its core GUI utilities. That project has been idle since about 2008 though when our lead developer got a girlfriend, and I got a job. I have spent a lot of time working both with PHP and PHP-GTK and most technologies related. Currently I am a Software Engineer for Ardent.Com, Inc since 2008. Through Ardent I get to work on a lot of different projects including Blogster, Gadget, ieWhois, and various other things.

I have  a cat, her name is Sally. She has her own page here on this site full of pictures for you to adore and be like “oh, that kitty is so cute I wish I could hug and pet her.” Well, you should forget that idea right now, as while she is indeed very pretty she also hates pretty much all people except for me. No joke.

This OPSAT.Net is like the 6th revision I have made since I started it, this one powered by WordPress back before WordPress had MU built in. I put it up as a test for a work project and after I had it running seemed a waste to rm -rf all that work I put into it. Therefore, now by using WordPress MU/Wordpress 3+ I am rebuilding the OPSAT Network. I do not really blog that much, this site will be a collection of all the stuff I do on various other sites, as well as a dump place for personal things like photos and stuff.

Sites I personally manage:
